Prof. NK Goyal from India specifically emphasized this point (importance of promoting multilingualism in the digital space) , along with the need for creating digital content in local languages and facilitating access to digital tools and infrastructure for local communities. He also highlighted the importance of collaboration, raising awareness and leveraging communication channels.

19.3.2024 TEMA/CMAI along with ITU-APT Foundation of India hosted an interactive session and dinner on March 19, 2024, at CSOI, KG Marg, New Delhi in honour of Mr. Seizo Onoe, Director of ITU's Telecommunication Standardization Bureau (TSB) who was visiting India for a TSB meeting. Senior officers from the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), including Member (Technology), Member (services), DCC and senior officers from WPC, BSNL, and TEC, along with industry experts, participated in the event.
